By using this site and signing up to a blog you agree to the following terms and conditions. Whilst you are on the site you must use the site in accordance with these.

  1. Responsibility of content posted to your blog

    Reciter.com will not be held responsible for the content of pages hosted under our service. We do not review page content before it is posted and do not verify, endorse, or otherwise take responsibility for the content of any user-created pages. However, we reserve the right to remove any page from our servers which we determine is violating our rules and guidelines. Users are solely responsible for all files contained in their own upload directory, and can be held legally liable for the contents of their blog posts.

  2. Abuse of the system

    If by any means, you abuse our systems both our self and our host will take action through all means necessary.

    Your allocated upload space is limited to the set limit for your account type. Your bandwidth is not, if a file you have uploaded is using excessive bandwidth then we reserve the right to remove the file from the system or reallocate to another server able to handle the requests.

  3. Abuse of individuals

    You must not, under any circumstances post any comments which are considered to abuse other members due to their sex, religion, beliefs, age etc.

    Whilst we encourage our users to share their views, however controversial, there is a difference between posting views in general and targeted, personalized abuse, based on individual tastes, beliefs and lifestyles etc.

    You may not publish any material that is grossly offensive to the general on-line community, including but not limited to, exploitation of children, blatant expressions of bigotry, hatred, harassment, defamation, invasion of privacy or excessive profanity (cursing). This includes material that defames, abuses, harasses or threatens any person or group. Files or directories or email user accounts may NOT contain profane or sexually suggestive names or expletives.

    We reserve the right to be the final judge as to what is or is not acceptable and to terminate your account if your use of it causes a detrimental effect on other users.

    If you feel you have received treatment which is a personalized attack please inform by email abusereciter.com - we will investigate and reply accordingly with point 5.

    Bullying is not acceptable in any format.

  4. What you may not post in the forums and blog's

    Spelt out in black and white:

    We reserve the right to be the final judge as to what is or is not acceptable and to terminate your account if your use of it causes a detrimental effect on other users.

  5. Actions as a result of breaking the Terms and conditions

    If you break any of our T&Cs then we reserve the right to (dependent on severity)

  6. Liability

    In no event will Reciter.com be liable for any damages, including, without limitation, direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use of or inability to use the Reciter.com web site or any content thereon. This disclaimer applies, without limitation, to any damages or injury, whether for breach of contract, tort, or otherwise, caused by any failure of performance; error; omission; interruption; deletion; defect; delay in operation or transmission; computer virus; file corruption; communication line failure; network or system outage; or theft, destruction, unauthorized access to, alteration of, or use of any record.

  7. Backing up your blog

    Reciter.com backups blog content on a regular schedule, and user upload directories once a week. However this does not mean users should not keep a backup of their files in their own manner. We provide no guarantees, implied or otherwise that we will be able to restore your blog from a backup.

  8. Updating of these T&Cs

    These terms and conditions may be updated at any time with no notice to users. However it is our intention to give users at least 1 weeks notice.
